Alabama running back Jam Miller is out with an upper-body injury, forcing the Tide to rethink its offensive strategy before the season opener versus Florida State.

The Crimson Tide has five other running backs who aim to fill in for the starter after he sustained an upper-body injury during Saturday's scrimmage.

Less than two weeks before Alabama football's season opener against Florida State, the Crimson Tide already have a patch to fill on offense. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer confirmed that starting running back Jam Miller would be out for an indeterminate amount of time with an upper-body injury.
